Sounds of the Good Life are here to rock. The Bloomingdale,IL based rock n roll group’s upbeat guitar attack, big saxophone noise and explosive energy have gained them a loyal small following. Formed in 2020, the professionalism and camaraderie between the members is apparent when they take the stage. Led by Anthony Doughty on vocals and guitar, the 5 piece band also showcases Wesley Ittner on guitar, Adam Blendermann on bass, Nathan Szabo on saxophone and Travis Beer on drums. They plan on releasing more music in the future.

    Our Story

    In 2020, Anthony Doughty decided to pick up the guitar after seeing a guy play it for a girl on tv, not long after the band, Sounds of the Good Life was formed. Fast forward to today, the band consists of 5 members and play rock original rock n roll music, performing in the northern regions of Illinois and out of state.
    In the summer 2024

    In 2020, Anthony Doughty decided to pick up the guitar after seeing a guy play it for a girl on tv, not long after the band, Sounds of the Good Life was formed. Fast forward to today, the band consists of 5 members and play rock original rock n roll music, performing in the northern regions of Illinois and out of state.
    In the summer 2024, the group entered the studio for the first time and released their first Live EP titled “New Horizons”. Containing 5 original tunes, the group is looking to continue releasing and writing more of their own songs.
    In 2025, the group released their single “Tonight”.
